PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. — A serious motor vehicle crash early Monday morning in Calvert County left one person with traumatic injuries.

Emergency responders were dispatched at approximately 6:42 a.m. on February 3, 2025, to the 5200 block of Macs Hollow Road, where they found an overturned SUV with two occupants inside.

Paramedics assessed both individuals at the scene and determined that one required an emergency airlift to a nearby trauma center due to the severity of their injuries. The second patient sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to CalvertHealth Medical Center for further evaluation.

Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
