Hollywood, MD — A motor vehicle accident was reported Oct. 3 at 8:30 p.m. on Joy Chapel Road in Hollywood. Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad responded to the call.
Upon arrival, they found a single vehicle which had struck a tree and had possibly continued to spin to it’s final rest in a yard. State Police medevac helicopter Trooper 7 was requested, but was grounded due to the high winds and rain in the area. The driver was transported by ground to Prince Georges Shock Trauma Center.
