ST. MARY’S CITY, Md. – The Theater, Dance, and Performance Studies Program’s 2025-26 Senior Capstone Class is proud to present “SPACE GIRL” by Mora V. Harris.

“SPACE GIRL” tells the story of Arugula Suarez, who just wants to fit in. But it’s not easy when you’re a sixteen-year-old alien from the planet Zlagdor.

Stuck in this new world where the only things that make sense are roller derby and salad, Arugula and her father, Nancy, must figure out how to navigate these different lives and discover what it truly means to be human—before time runs out for Planet Earth.

Performances run March 5, 6, and 7 at 8 p.m., and March 7 and 8 at 2 p.m.

Tickets are FREE but reservations are required. Scan the QR code on the poster to reserve tickets, or email boxoffice@smcm.edu for more information.
