CLINTON, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit has charged a south county man in connection with the murder of his father. The suspect is Andre Picarriello, 27 of Clinton. The victim is Guillermo Picarriello, 74. Both lived in the 5600 block of Fishermens Court.
On June 13 at about 9:30 p.m., patrol officers were called to the family’s home for a stabbing. When they arrived, they found the victim suffering from stab wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Preliminarily, detectives believe the suspect stabbed his father after the two got into an argument. The suspect then left the home. He was arrested this Sunday morning, June 14 in Charles County on an unrelated charge. The Prince George’s County Police Department has charged Andre Picarriello with first and second degree murder. He is currently in custody in Charles County.
