Charles County Government Presidents Day Schedule
The County Administrator wishes to remind residents of changes to normal operating schedules for the month of February.ย All offices, facilities, and services not listed will be operating their normal hours.
โข All Charles County Government offices and the Tri-County Animal Shelter in Hughesville will be closed.
โข The Nanjemoy Community Center, senior centers, and all school-based community centers will be closed.
โข Waldorf Senior and Recreational Center will be open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. for recreational activities only.
โข Lackey, Donald M. Wade Aquatic Center, and North Point High indoor pools will be open from 1 p.m. โ 9 p.m.
โข Charles County Public Library will be closed (all branches).
โข Charles County Health Department will be closed.

Calvert County Governmentย Presidents Day Schedule
The Calvert County Board of County Commissioners announces county offices will be closed Monday, Feb. 17, 2020, in observance of Presidents Day. In addition:
โข County senior centers will be closed and Meals on Wheels will not be delivered. However, participants will be provided shelf-stable meals in advance.
โข There will be no county bus service Monday, Feb. 17. Regular service will resume on Tuesday, Feb. 18.
โข Calvert Library locations will be closed Monday, Feb. 17. Online services and electronic checkouts will be available.
โข All community centers will be closed on Monday, Feb. 17.
โข All recreation parks including Dunkirk, Hallowing Point and Cove Point parks will be open with normal winter hours.
โข The Appeal Solid Waste Facility, which includes the landfill and transfer station, and all county customer convenience centers will be open with normal operating hours.
โข The Water & Sewerage billing and customer service office, and the Solomons Septage Receiving Facility, will be closed Monday, Feb. 17. On-call crews wยฌill be available for water and sewer service emergencies only at 410-535-3491.
โข Chesapeake Hills Golf Course will be open Monday, Feb. 17, with normal hours.
โข The Calvert Marine Museum will be open Monday, Feb. 17, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Museum Store will also be open from 10:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
โข The Solomons Visitor Center, located in the Calvert Marine Museum, will be closed Monday, Feb. 17. Winter hours are Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Sundays, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
โข Kings Landing Park will be open Monday, Feb. 17 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
โข Flag Ponds Nature Park will be open Monday, Feb. 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.ย
โข Battle Creek Cypress Swamp is closed through spring while undergoing renovations to the nature center.
โข Edward T. Hall Aquatic Center will be open with normal operating hours Monday, Feb. 17.
โข Breezy Point Beach & Campground is closed for the season.
โข The Linda L. Kelley Animal Shelter and Animal Control Division will be closed on Monday, Feb. 17.

St. Mary’s County Governmentย Presidents Day Schedule
โข All St. Maryโs County Government administrative offices will be closed Monday, Feb. 17, 2020 in observance of Presidents Day. Administrative offices will reopen for normal business hours Tuesday, Feb. 18.
โข The St. Andrews Landfill, the six (6) Convenience Centers and St. Maryโs Transit System (STS) will operate under normal hours Monday, Feb. 17. However, the Statewide Specialized Transportation Assistance Program (SSTAP) will not provide services for the Senior Nutrition Centers and or SSTAP appointments.
โข All St. Maryโs County Library locations will be closed Monday, Feb. 17.
โข All three Senior Activity Centers will be closed. No Home-Delivered Meals deliveries will be made.
โข The St. Clementโs Island Museum and Piney Point Lighthouse museum and Historic Park will be open from noon โ 4 p.m. Feb.17, 2020.

MDOT MVA Offices to Close in Observance of Presidentsโ Day
All MDOT MVA Offices and VEIP Stations Will Reopen on Tuesday, February 18
โข The Maryland Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Administration (MDOT MVA) will close all branch offices and Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program (VEIP) stations on Monday, February 17, 2020 in observance of the Presidentsโ Day holiday.
MDOT MVA self-service VEIP kiosks, online services and 24-hour kiosks will still be available. Customers may conduct numerous transactions online at mva.maryland.gov, including:
โข Duplicate/Additional Registration Cards
โข Vehicle Registration Renewals
โข Insurance Compliance Payments
โข Identification Card Renewals
โข Title Replacements
โข Change of Address
โข Driving Records
โข License Plate Purchase/Replacement
โข Temporary Registration
โข Information on Administrative Flag Fees
โข VEIP Test Date Extension
โข Driverโs License Renewals; and
โข Substitute Stickers.
Customers are also encouraged to utilize the REAL ID Lookup Tool and Document Guide to learn their compliance status and make an appointment to get REAL ID ready. Appointments can be made at www.mva.maryland.gov/odg.
