Calvert County, MD—TheBayNet.com received an email from a concerned reader regarding a situation with Child Protective Services (CPS). This reader is a grandmother of a young child currently living in a tent with his mother and her boyfriend. The grandmother informed CPS of the situation, to which they responded that a tent still counts as a “shelter” and the living situation could not be deemed as neglect as the baby had no bumps or bruises.
