ST. MARY’S COUNTY, Md. — The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory in effect from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM for Prince George’s, Charles, and Saint Mary’s and Calvert counties. Heat index values are expected to reach 105 to 109 in affected areas.
Forecasters warn that extreme heat and humidity may cause heat illnesses. Hot and humid conditions will persist into next week, with the hottest days expected Tuesday and Wednesday, July 29 and 30.

- Risk of localized flash flooding
