LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — Southern Maryland native Bethany Yeh has officially entered the music industry with the release of her debut single, “Still Small Voice,” on Jan. 31, 2025. The song is now available on all major streaming platforms.

Yeh, 22, grew up in St. Mary’s County’s Wildewood neighborhood and continues to call the area home, residing in Lexington Park. Over the past four years, she has made multiple trips to Nashville, where she has collaborated with songwriters and producers. Her debut single was recorded in March 2024, and she plans to return to Nashville this year to continue her work.

“It has been a long journey beginning with a written thought in a notebook to a recorded single, so I am very happy to have reached this milestone,” Yeh said.

The singer-songwriter describes “Still Small Voice” as a deeply personal song with multiple layers of meaning. “The main message is the confidence and reassurance that everyone has a purpose in life,” Yeh previously told The BayNet. “In your early twenties, there’s a lot of unknowns, but through that, I’ve found confidence in my faith and knowing God has a plan for everybody’s life.”

Since its release, the song has received an outpouring of support from Yeh’s community and beyond. “The response from the community has been wonderful. I am so grateful to have so many friends around me who support and appreciate this song,” she said. “It has also been wonderful to hear people’s personal stories about how the words of this song have encouraged them in their spiritual journey.”

Yeh’s music is independently funded, and she hopes to continue sharing her story through future projects. “As an artist and a songwriter, I am always writing and continuing to develop and refine my art,” she said. “I would love to release more music in the future and also collaborate with other artists and songwriters.”

As she looks ahead, Yeh remains committed to her faith and the creative process. “Throughout my musical journey, I have been trusting God’s plan for what the future may hold,” she said. “He has provided and guided me to this point, and I know He will continue to provide opportunities and direction in the future.”
