HOLLYWOOD, Md. — St. John’s Summer Program, a vibrant Catholic day camp in Southern Maryland, is gearing up for another season of faith-filled fun, offering an impressive selection of 92 different week-long camps for children to enjoy. Running from June 16 through August 8, the eight-week program welcomes kids ages 4 to 14 for an engaging summer experience rooted in joy and spiritual growth.
Held on the grounds of St. John’s Parish in Hollywood, the program operates Monday through Friday from 8:45 a.m. to noon, with extended care available from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. With a diverse lineup of weekly camp themes, children can explore a variety of interests throughout the summer. Families enrolling multiple children can also take advantage of a discount.
Beyond its focus on fun, the camp has also made a lasting impact through charitable efforts. Last summer, staff, volunteers, and families raised more than $30,000 to support hungry children through Mary’s Meals, a global organization providing food to impoverished communities.
Registration is now open, and families interested in securing a spot can visit St. John’s Summer Program website for more details.
