On-View Arrests:

Stolen Firearm: On Jan. 13, 2021, the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit conducted a search warrant at 21550 Morris Drive in Lexington Park where Markus Antonio Carter, 23 of Lexington Park, was found to be in possession of a Ruger P89 handgun, which had been reported stolen to the Sheriff’s Office in 2018 in a reported burglary. The handgun was loaded and Carter was also found to be in possession of a 12-gauge shotgun with a 9-inch barrel. Carter was also found to be in possession of more than 10 grams of marijuana. Carter was arrested, transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center in Leonardtown and was charged with Illegal Possession of a Registered Firearm, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Possession of a Disqualified Shotgun, Possession of a Short-Barreled Shotgun, Illegal Possession of Ammo and CDS Possession: Marijuana More than 10 grams. Assault: On Jan. 13, 2021, Deputy Robert Chase responded to the 45400 block of Heather Street in Great Mills for the report of a disturbance. The victim advised that Stacy Yvette Hall, 33 of Great Mills, smacked the victim in the face with an open hand. The victim’s neck had a small cut on the left side and Hall was charged with Second-Degree Assault. Case # 2046-21

CDS Possession: On Jan. 13, 2021, Cpl. Angela Delozier responded to the Leonard’s Grant community center parking lot in Leonardtown for a noise complaint. Delozier made contact with Brazil Andres Barrow, 23 of Leonardtown, who was issued a citation for CDS Possession: Marijuana over 10 grams. Case # 2162-21 (no photo available)

Assault: On Jan. 14, 2021, Cpl. Dale Reppel responded to the 46800 block of Hilton Drive in Lexington Park for the report of an assault. The victim advised that Crystal Dawn Schildt, 25 of Lexington Park, kicked the victim in the stomach and scratched the victim on the arms and chest during an argument showing visible signs of injury. Schildt was charged with Second-Degree Assault. Case # 2179-21

CDS Possession: On Jan. 14, 2021, the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division conducted a search warrant at 46465 Sell Drive in Lexington Park where Norman Kenneth Dickerson, 60 of Lexington Park, was charged with CDS Possession: Cocaine. Case # 80756-20

CDS Intent to Distribute: On Jan. 15, 2021, the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at 46032 Gooseneck Drive in Lexington Park. Detectives located a large amount of suboxone, a Beretta Pico .380, a 12-gauge shotgun and another 12-gauge shotgun with a short barrel. Michael Fitzgerald Dobbins Jr., 33 of Lexington Park, was arrested and charged with CDS Possession: Suboxone with Intent to Distribute; CDS Possession: Not Marijuana; Firearm/Drug Trafficking Crime; CDS: Distribution with a Firearm; Unregistered shotgun and Possession of a Rifle/Shotgun Disqualification. CDS Possession: On Jan. 16, 2021, DFC Andrew Budd conducted a traffic stop on Great Mills Road in Lexington Park. The driver, Tauna Sheree Jones, 37 of Port Republic, was conscious, but showed lack of alertness and was not oriented. Jones could not answer basic questions and appeared extremely confused. In plain view on the driver’s seat, Budd observed a discolored cigarette, indicative of a cigarette dipped in PCP. Jones was arrested and charged with CDS Possession: PCP and CDS Possession: Paraphernalia. Case # 2685-21

Assault: On Jan. 16, 2021, DFC Shawn Shelko responded to the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center for the report of an assault. Inmate Oliver Henry Woods, 60 of Leonardtown, was observed on video surveillance and witnessed by a corrections officer assaulting another inmate by striking the victim’s face with an open hand. Woods was charged with Second-Degree Assault. Case # 2553-21

Sex Offense: On Jan. 17, 2021, deputies responded to Mount Zion Church Road in St. Inigoes for the report of a sex offense. Darren Edward Cole, 33 of St. Inigoes, was found in bed with a 13-year-old child. Cole exited the residence through the victim’s bedroom window and when officers attempted to contact Cole at his residence, Cole fled on foot into the woods and was detained soon afterward. Cole was arrested and charged with Third-Degree Sex Offense by Deputy John Fenwick. Case # 2801-21

Assault: On Jan. 17, 2021, Cpl. Timothy Snyder observed a known defendant swinging what appeared to be a stick at the victim along Great Mills Road in Lexington Park. In responding, Snyder ordered Robert Lee Driggers, 54 of Lexington Park, to drop the weapon – a sharpened piece of rebar. Once laying on the ground, Driggers resisted arrest. Once placed in handcuffs, Driggers continued to yell at the victim. The victim had visible injuries to the leg. Driggers was charged with First-Degree Assault, Felony Intimidate/Influence Juror, Second-Degree Assault, Intimidate/Influence Juror, Resist/Interfere with Arrest and Trespassing on Private Property. Assault: On Jan. 18, 2021, Deputy Richard Wilhelmi responded to the 45600 block of Jillian Court in California for the report of an assault. The victim advised that Malik Jamal Walker, 33 of California, spit in the victim’s face and slapped the victim in an argument over excessive water usage. Wilhelmi observed visible injuries to the victim and Walker was arrested and charged with Second-Degree Assault. Case # 3007-21
