Assault- On May 7, 2021, Dep. Myers responded to the 38400 block of Arlington Drive in Mechanicsville, for the reported assault. Investigation determined David Lloyd Hutchinson, age 49 of Mechanicsville, assaulted the victim by striking the victim in the face and kicking a second victim. Both victims displayed visible signs of injury and Hutchinson was arrested and charged with two counts of Assault 2nd Degree. CASE# 24593-21

Violate Protective Order- On May 9, 2021, DFC. Lawrence responded to the 41600 block of Knight Road in Leonardtown, for the reported protective order violation. DFC. Lawrence made contact with Robert Matthew Duke, age 34 of no fixed address. Duke was at the victim’s residence in violation of a valid court order. Rogue and Vagabond- On May 9, 2021, DFC. Lawrence was at Sheriff’s Office Headquarters in Leonardtown, when he observed Meghann Emily Abraham, age 30 of California, walking through the parking lot. DFC. Lawrence continued inside of headquarters, at which time Abraham was observed attempting to enter DFC. Lawrence’s assigned vehicle. Abraham was arrested and charged with Rogue and Vagabond. False Statement to Officer- On May 9, 2021, DFC. Lawrence responded to the 21800 block of Three Notch Road in Lexington Park, for the reported assault. Contact was made with Natasha Maureen Kelly, age 35 of Lexington Park, who advised she had been assaulted. Contact was made with several individuals on scene and it was determined no assault had occurred and Kelly had provided a false statement to DFC. Lawrence with the intent of having another individual charged. Kelly was arrested and charged with False Statement to Officer. CASE# 24936-21

Assault- On May 10, 2021, Cpl. D. Smith responded to the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center in Leonardtown, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Latres Javontae Cockerham, age 23 of Lexington Park, assaulted the victim by pouring butter on the victim’s head. Cockerham was charged with Assault 2nd Degree.
