
LEONARDTOWN, Md. — St. Mary’s Little League is on fire this summer, earning not one but two District 7 championships as both the 8-10 and 9-11 Baseball All-Star teams captured titles and punched their tickets to the 2025 Maryland State Tournaments.
The 8-10 baseball team clinched its district championship in dramatic fashion with a walk-off win in the final game, closing out a gritty run filled with standout performances and community support. The team now advances to the Maryland State Tournament in Thurmont, Md., which kicks off Saturday, July 12.

Adding to the celebration, the 9-11 baseball team went on a dominant four-game win streak to claim its own District 7 championship title. These young athletes will head to the Maryland State Tournament in South Baltimore, also beginning Saturday, July 12.
Both teams have overwhelming support from local fans, families and coaches, who filled the stands and cheered on every inning.
