At 8:11 p.m. Nov. 27, Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to a residence in the 2600 block of Enterprise Place in Waldorf for the report of shots fired.
Investigation revealed the victim, a 40-year-old Waldorf woman, was sitting on her couch when a shot entered her front window and lodged in the wall behind her.
Officers found witnesses in the area who heard the shot and observed two vehicles leave Westdale Court and Western Parkway area at a high rate of speed while a person ran after them.
The vehicles are described as a dark-colored Ford Crown Victoria with tinted windows and a small black passenger car. The victim was not injured.
