HOLLYWOOD, Md. – Historic Sotterley is inviting the public to join us for Sunset at Sotterley, a beautiful gala under the painted hues of the summer sky to help preserve one of Maryland’s treasured historic landmarks. The evening will include beautiful golden hour views, a signature cocktail, fabulous food, silent auctions, and music and dancing in the wonderfully remodeled Barns at Sotterley.
Individual tickets to Sunset at Sotterley are $150 per person, but we are offering sponsorship options with extra tickets and marketing opportunities to individuals and businesses who are interested in giving additional support to Historic Sotterley. Sponsorships range from $500 to $5000 and can be arranged by contacting Angela Stansbury at stewardship@sotterley.org.
Attending this gala not only earns you a fun night out on a scenic historic property, but it also directly supports Historic Sotterley’s programs and operations. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit museum operating without an endowment or guaranteed funding from the county or state. Every dollar of support we receive helps us share the stories and history of our important site, reach over 5,000 students annually, provide free and low-cost activities for our community, preserve incredible historic structures, and more. As a National Historic Landmark and a UNESCO Site of Memory for the Routes of Enslaved Peoples, we are dedicated to being a unique resource for our community to get connected to Maryland and American history.
