At 1:20 a.m. Aug. 19, TFC L. Nims of the Leonardtown barrack responded to the Mouse Trap Bar, Mechanicsville, for the report of a juvenile attempting to purchase alcohol.
Investigation revealed that Henry Alvin Meinhardt 4th, 18, of Mechanicsville, attempted to buy alcoholic products using a driver’s license he found.
Upon contact with Meinhardt, an odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected. The license was confiscated and returned to MVA.
Meinhardt was issued a citation for attempting to purchase alcoholic beverage by someone under the age of 21. Due to his intoxicated state he was release from the scene to his mother.
