PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – In a developing investigation, deputies from the Calvert County Patrol Bureau responded to a report of a shooting on Sark Court early Friday morning.
At approximately 7:05 a.m., on December 1, 2023, police and rescue personnel arrived at the scene and discovered a 16-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his upper body.
EMS requested a MEDEVAC for the victim, who was airlifted to a nearby trauma center for treatment. The victim is currently in stable condition.
Witnesses on the scene advised a masked male suspect was seen leaving the area in a black SUV.
Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Bureau responded to the scene and have assumed the investigation. This does not appear to be a random act.

Crazy shooting in yardly hills again
Yardly Hills is not a good place to live. Lots of illegal activities goes on in that neighborhood.
I live there and your are correct also parents not care what their kids do as long as they are out of their hair.half of the parents that have juveniles out of control are scared of their own kids

I use to live in yardly Hills about 6 months ago. I absolutely hated it. My next door neighbor was very annoying and frustrated me. It is always a bunch of criminal activity going on. The people in rental office are very unprofessional and rude themselves. Yardly Hills is just a terrible place to live. Management and People that live there makes me sick and I will never recommend that place to anyone. I would not want to take my pet dogs over there.
I hope the guy man makes a full recovery and comes around. 🙏

Might happen frequently in Baltimore, DC, PG, and Waldorf but Calvert??!! This is exactly what many have been trying to avoid for many years but “affordable housing” seems to attract people whose culture espouses the “thug life”. Call me racist all you want.
