
GLEN BURNIE, Md. — Four individuals, including two juveniles, were arrested Tuesday, December 3, 2024, after an armed robbery in Glen Burnie led to a swift response from the Anne Arundel County Police Department.
The incident occurred around 4 p.m. in the 6600 block of Ritchie Highway. According to police, the victim was approached by four suspects armed with firearms, who demanded his property. The victim complied, and the suspects fled the scene in a gray 2007 Pontiac G6, heading toward Ordnance Road.
Officers quickly located the vehicle on Ordnance Road and apprehended all four suspects. A subsequent search of the car yielded a cache of weapons and drugs, including a stolen 9mm Canik Model 2 semi-automatic handgun, a 9mm Ruger LC9 semi-automatic handgun, two 9mm Polymer 80 semi-automatic handguns, and approximately 84 grams of suspected marijuana.
The suspects arrested include Izaiah Allen Conway, 18, of Middle River, Maryland, and Devin Austin Smith, 18, of Essex, Maryland. Two juveniles, a 17-year-old male and a 15-year-old male, were also taken into custody.
All four individuals face multiple charges, including armed robbery, possession of stolen property, and firearms-related offenses.
Anne Arundel County police are urging anyone with additional information about the incident to come forward.
This case remains under investigation.
