SOLOMONS, MD โ€”ย The public is invited to the 6th Annual Fairy & Gnome Home Festival, a magical afternoon of imaginative fun and natural play, on Sunday, April 24, from noon to 4:00pm, at Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center in Solomons, Maryland.ย  New this year, the festival will include unicorn rides and a baby animal petting zoo!ย  The festival activities will be scattered along the lovely Wooded Path of Annmarie creating a charming journey of discovery for young guests.ย  The first stop is the Fairy Lolly, a creative space where youngsters can climb, explore, build, and dream with a variety of imaginative toys and props.ย  As they continue their journey, youngsters can search for all the hidden fairy and gnome homes, build their own house, create their own special gnome friend and make magical costume pieces using natural elements other doo-dads.ย 

Little fairies and gnomes can visit the Fantasy Face Painting booth, dig for Troll Treasure, play a variety of Gnome Games, and visit the Fairy Fishing Hole.ย  Enjoy a delightful selection of magical music and dance, from ballet to hula hooping, on the Hungerford Patio.ย  There are endless photo opportunities with the Fairy Queen and her court, with a unicorn, or with any of the sweet baby animals at Maryโ€™s Go Round Petting Zoo!ย  Visit the many vendors to find just the right costume and props, books and whimsical art for all the fairies and gnomes in your group.ย  Family-friendly food and drink will be available including, kettle corn, shaved ice, hand-dipped local ice cream, and more.ย  Spend the afternoon at Annmarie for an unforgettably magical day.ย  Admission to the festival is free for members, $5 for non-members, and free for ages 2 and younger.ย  For additional information please call (410) 326-4640, email info@annmariegarden.org, or visit www.annmariegarden.org.
