NEWBURG, Md. – On May 20, 2024, at approximately 12:45 p.m., emergency personnel responded to a motor vehicle crash in the area of Rock Point Road.
Crews arrived to find two vehicles involved in a head-on collision in the middle of the roadway. Three individuals were confirmed injured in the accident.
Two elderly females sustained injuries and were evaluated on the scene. Additionally, a 22-year-old male suffered a possible femur fracture. All three injured parties were transported to UM Charles Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The cause of the collision is currently under investigation.
