
HOLLYWOOD, Md. — Four people were injured Sunday afternoon following a serious T-bone collision in Hollywood, with two patients reported in critical condition.
Emergency personnel were dispatched at approximately 4:38 p.m. on March 15, 2026, to the intersection of Hollywood Road and Three Notch Road for a reported motor vehicle collision with a trapped occupant.
According to emergency dispatch information, the crash involved a T-bone style collision on the southbound side of Three Notch Road.
Firefighters arrived to find one occupant trapped in a vehicle and worked quickly to free the patient, completing the extrication within minutes of their arrival.
First responders encountered multiple injured patients, including one patient who required lifesaving measures, with CPR reported in progress at the scene. CPR was later initiated on a second patient shortly afterward.
In total, three patients were evaluated by EMS. Two patients were reported to be in critical condition, while a third sustained injuries.
Due to the severity of the injuries, a medical helicopter was requested and firefighters established a landing zone at the Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department.
One patient who required CPR was transported by ambulance to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital. A second patient was flown by Maryland State Police Aviation Command Trooper 7 to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital for further treatment. Shortly later, two additional patients were transported to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital.
Motorists should expect an extended road closure in the area while emergency personnel remain on scene and investigators work to determine the cause of the crash.
The incident remains active and police are investigating.

The car that was involved had been speeding down road from as far up as Charlotte Hall. I pray everyone is ok. That driver seemed to be in a serious hurry to go nowhere he later learned.
What were the vehicles involved?
Sad. Maybe SMSCO/MSP need to step the road patrols. States Attorney backs up the LEO’S, but the Judge’s are the problem with crime in St Mary’s county.
