California, MD – On Tuesday, March 3, at 5:54 pm, Tpr. A. Oyler responded to the end of Knott Drive, California for a reported firearms complaint.
Upon arrival, Tpr. Oyler observed three subjects in the immediate area. Contact was made with the subjects, who were identified as Tyquan Edward Mims, 18, of Great Mills, Joseph Evans, 18, of Lexington Park, and Nicholas Daeshaun Chase, 19, of Lexington Park.
The investigation revealed three firearms, including one regulated firearm. The firearms were seized and the subjects were arrested for Possessing a Regulated Firearm Under the Age of 21.
The subjects were transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
