WALDORF, MD – Waldorf Marketplace, one of the premier shopping destinations in southern Maryland, is hosting its annual Winter Wonderland celebrations from 12 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 5. The events will feature seasonally inspired entertainment and activities including strolling carolers, a photo booth, a visit from Santa and more.
“It’s a special time of year. We want families to enjoy kicking-off holiday shopping at Waldorf Marketplace,” said Anita Adams senior property manager for CNL Commercial Real Estate, the company that manages Waldorf Marketplace.
The station will be located between Noodles & Company and Coldstone Creamery. Additionally, there will be an opportunity for shoppers to enter in a drawing for a GoPro giveaway. Santa will be available for pictures, but a photographer will not be on site. Visitors should be prepared to take pictures with their own camera.
Waldorf Marketplace will also be collecting everyday essentials to benefit teenagers at the Structures Youth Home in Faulkner, Md. Cold weather gear or toiletries will be accepted to help local teens in need.
Waldorf Marketplace is conveniently located at 3051 Waldorf Market Place (on U.S. Route 301 at the corner of Berry Road and Western Parkway) in Waldorf.
