A woman was injured Wednesday afternoon when her Toyota Prius passenger car was struck by a Toyota Tacoma truck at the intersection of Beachville Road and Route 5 in St. Inigoes, causing the truck to roll over.
The Ridge Volunteer Fire and Rescue units responded to the scene at approximately 4 p.m. The female driver of the Prius was taken away by ambulance for medical treatment. The airbags in the Prius deployed.
The male driver of the Tacoma was treated at the scene and refused further medical treatement.
