At 11:48 a.m. Nov. 2, Officer R. Peters of the Charles County Sheriffโ€™s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Red Lion Place in Waldorf for speeding.

Investigation revealed the driver, Neal Wesley King, 20, of Waldorf, was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police say.

King was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding.

He is being held at the Charles County Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
