
LUSBY, Md — Fire and rescue units were dispatched to 628 Peace Pipe Court at 10:39 a.m. Saturday after a caller reported that a tree had fallen into a home.
The caller confirmed they were on scene and requested assistance for a downed tree impacting the structure. At first, there were no reports of injuries and none of the occupants needed medical assessment. Later it was found that a 53-year-old female needed attention for scratches by broke glass.
The event was recorded as a local service response to fallen trees and debris. Crews assessed the damage and ensured there were no hazards before clearing the scene.
The house was reported by authorities to be inhabitable.
