The students of the Future Business Leaders of America at Northern High School in Calvert County are again working in conjunction with the Tri-County Animal Shelter in Hughesville to host the โSpring into Adoptionโ Party.ย Come by the Tri-County Animal Shelter on Saturday, April 16, anytime between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. to enjoy the festivities. The students will be providing games for the kids, dog baths, and will be awarding prizes throughout the day.
To kick off this celebration, the Tri-County Animal Shelter will reduce adoption fees starting on Monday, April 11, until the end of the party on April 16. Dog adoption will cost $50 and cat adoptions will cost $25. Approximately 75 dogs will be available for adoption, including โDaisy,โ a timid German Shepherd-mix looking for a family that has the time to spend with her. She loves people and is eager to please. The shelter will be showcasing a majority of their cats in the new cageless cat room. Come and mingle among the friendly felines; we encourage you to challenge them to a game of chase the mouse.
