BALTIMORE, Md. – A Baltimore County landscaper, who enjoys playing Keno and Racetrax, scored a $31,311 Racetrax prize on April 1 thanks to horses 10, 11 and 12 on a trifecta box bet.
The lucky winner purchased her ticket at Perry Hall Petro located at 8809 Belair Road in Perry Hall. She typically makes trifecta and quinella bets, but this time she decided to increase her chances of winning with a trifecta box bet with horses 10, 11 and 12. To win on a trifecta box ticket, the three horses selected must finish in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place – in any order.
The winner, who plans to pay bills with her prize, was still inside the store when the 11 horse crossed the finish line, followed by the 12 and 10 horses. Though excited and shocked, she remained calm. Besides the store clerk and few close friends, she hasn’t shared the news of her win with anyone.
Perry Hall Petro will collect a $313.11 bonus for selling a winning Racetrax ticket worth $31,311.
