WALDORF, Md. – Two people were injured in a serious vehicle collision on Crain Highway near Jefferson Farm Place on April 24, 2024.
Emergency personnel responded to the accident scene at approximately 12:49 p.m. They found a pickup truck overturned and another vehicle on fire, crashed into a utility pole. Occupants were reportedly trapped inside the vehicles.
Crews quickly removed the occupants from the vehicles. EMS evaluated two patients on the scene. One patient was transported to UM Capital Region Medical Center, and the second patient was taken to MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital for treatment.
SMECO was requested to the scene for repairs.
