SEVERN, Md. — Nearly two and a half years after the fatal shooting of 20-year-old Naim Rashid Addison in Severn, Anne Arundel County Police have arrested two additional suspects in connection with the case.
Authorities announced Thursday that detectives identified Dontravious Johnson, 19, of Annapolis, and Francis Bella Koroma Jr., 20, of Greenbelt, as suspects in Addison’s murder. Both were taken into custody without incident on February 4, 2025, at their respective residences.
Addison was found with multiple gunshot wounds inside a tan 2008 Honda Civic on the night of Aug. 21, 2022. Despite life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead at an area hospital. Police said early in the investigation that the shooting was targeted.
The case saw its first major break in March 2023, when police arrested Vanae Lewis, 18, of Severn, charging her with first-degree murder and multiple related offenses. However, detectives continued their investigation, leading them to Johnson and Koroma.
Both men now face a slate of charges, including first-degree murder, armed robbery, and firearm-related offenses.
While the arrests mark significant progress, police say the case remains active. Authorities are urging anyone with additional information to contact the Anne Arundel County Police Homicide Unit at 410-222-4731 or submit tips anonymously through Metro Crime Stoppers.
