Charlotte Hall, MD – Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle collision on northbound Three Notch Road at New Market Turner Road shortly after noon, today. The crash, described as a rear-end style collision, resulted in two individuals being transported for medical evaluation.
St. Mary’s County Fire and EMS were dispatched to the scene at approximately 12:09 p.m. First responders located both vehicles involved and assessed the occupants for injuries. After initial evaluation, two individuals were transported to a nearby medical facility. The extent of their injuries has not been disclosed at this time.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.

I travel Three Notch Road a couple of times a week. I slow to 45 mph at Carrico Mills Road. It’s pretty rush hour. Vehicles are flying around me. Possibly doing 70 mph until the light at Old McKays.
