HUNTINGTOWN, Md. — One person was transported to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Calvert County.
The crash was reported at approximately 12:38 p.m. on April 10, 2026, at the intersection of Bowie Shop Road and northbound Solomons Island Road in Huntingtown.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and evaluated both drivers involved in the collision. One individual was transported by ambulance to CalvertHealth Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, while the other declined medical care.
Maryland State Police responded to the scene and requested assistance for traffic control as crews worked to clear the roadway.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
