OWINGS, Md. — A single-vehicle rollover crash in Owings left one person temporarily trapped Monday morning.
The crash was reported around 9:22 a.m. on March 30, 2026, at the intersection of East Chesapeake Beach Road and Lafayette Drive.
Initial reports indicated a vehicle had overturned, with one occupant pinned inside. Emergency crews responded to the scene and evaluated the patient after the individual was freed.
The patient declined further medical treatment and reported no injuries.
A tow truck later arrived to assist in turning the vehicle back onto its wheels. The roadway was temporarily shut down while crews worked to clear the scene.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
