
UPDATE – 5:00 PM – The St. Mary’s County Department of Emergency Services has reported Verizon Wireless has restored 9-1-1 services to their customers. Verizon calls should connect to 9-1-1 at this time.
LEONARDTOWN, Md. – St. Mary’s County Government’s Department of Emergency Services has reported that Verizon Wireless customers may be having difficulties connecting to 9-1-1 and non-emergency lines. The issue is primarily affecting customers in the Leonardtown area. If you are having issues connecting to 9-1-1, utilize a landline phone or alternate phone service carrier.
Verizon Wireless is actively working on this issue. More information will be released as it becomes available.
