Waldorf, MD โ€“ A major crash with multiple ejections and serious injuries shut down part of Gallant Green Road near Leonardtown Road in Waldorf Saturday morning.

The first emergency call was taken in around 9:52 a.m. on May 11, describing victims โ€œsticking out of windowsโ€ and ejected from multiple vehicles. At least one individual was ejected and able to stand, while others required immediate transport.

Multiple ambulances and medevac assets were dispatched. One helicopter transported a patient to Capital Region Medical Center in Largo.

The crash involved several vehicles. This is a developing story.

  1. Seatbelts save lives. Hope all survive…and learn from this vehicle crash.

  2. Considering that youโ€™re like 10,000 times more likely to die in a highway crash than in an airliner one, wear your seatbelt. Itโ€™s not rocket science, but without that belt on, you could rocket through your windshield if you speed like people do on 210, 4, and 5, good luck. Worse drivers by far in the DCMA.
