On Feb. 25, St. Mary’s DFC K Moritz responded to a residence on Great Mills Court in Lexington Park, in an attempt to locate suspect Michael Anthony Somerville Jr., 25 of Great Mills, who was wanted on an outstanding open bench warrant through Baltimore City Police for illegal possession of a regulated firearm.
Upon arrival Michael Somerville, Jr. was observed through a window sitting on a couch within the residence. Contact was then made with Somerville and he was placed under arrest. A search of Somerville’s person incident to arrest revealed him to be in possession of six individual baggies of suspected marijuana.
Michael Somerville, Jr. was transported to the Detention Center where he was served with the open warrant and charged for possession of CDS-marijuana.
