ST. MARY’S COUNTY – The Board of Education approved adjustments to the 2025–26 school calendar during its Feb. 3, 2026, meeting due to weather-related school closures earlier this winter.
As part of the changes, Monday, Feb. 16, 2026 (Presidents’ Day), will now be a school day.
The final day of school for students has also been updated:
- Tuesday, June 9, 2026, for St. Mary’s County Public Schools
- Friday, June 12, 2026, for Chesapeake Public Charter School
The dates are pending any additional school closures.
