INDIAN HEAD, Md. — A brand-new farmers market is coming to western Charles County this season. The Western Charles Farmers Market will hold its first market day on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at The Master’s Child Church, located at 6485 Indian Head Highway, Indian Head, MD 20640.

The market will operate from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the second and fourth Sundays of each month, running from May through October. Visitors can expect a vibrant selection of locally grown produce, handmade goods, and community vendors. EBT is accepted, making the market accessible to more families in the area.

Vendor spaces are available, and admission and parking are free. Organizers welcome all residents to support regional growers and enjoy fresh, seasonal offerings close to home.

Canopy Group Markets and local partners support this effort to promote healthy food access and economic opportunity in Southern Maryland.
