WALDORF, Md. — Emergency crews responded Friday morning to a reported incident involving a woman who fell into a residential swimming pool in Waldorf.

The call came in around 11:48 a.m., March 20 in the 6400 block of Loy Road, with initial reports indicating the woman had fallen into the pool and became entangled in a pool cover or tarp.

Responding personnel arrived to find the woman had already been removed from the water.

Fire and EMS crews evaluated her at the scene before transporting her to UM Charles Regional Medical Center for evaluation of injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
