California, MDโ€”On April 30, Maryland State Police Trooper S. Regina was sitting in the parking lot at the WaWa at Three Notch Road in California when a silver Acura TL entered the parking lot and attempted to pull into a parking space right next to Regina.ย 

Regina observed the driver exit the vehicle and crouch down; Regina advised she then, โ€œnoticed a stream of an unknown liquid substance coming from the area where the driver was crouched down,โ€ according to charging documents.

The female was identified as Kayla H. Terrell, 20 of Mechanicsville. When Terrell noticed Regina, she immediately stood up and pulled up her pants. When Regina asked Terrell what she was doing, she stated, โ€œThat she couldnโ€™t hold it (urine) and had to use the bathroom,โ€ according to charging documents.

While speaking with Terrell, Regina smelled an alcoholic beverage on the driverโ€™s breath. Regina also noticed several open alcoholic beverages in the vehicle, including beer and liquor.

Regina asked Terrell where she was coming from, and if he had been drinking, Terrell responded, โ€œThat she had been drinking and was at a bar,โ€ according to court documents

Regina asked Terrell how old she was, and she looked away from Regina. Terrell stated that she was 20. Regina then asked Terrell how she gained entry into the bar, which Terrell replied, โ€œshe had a โ€˜fake ID,’โ€ according to charging documents.
Regina conducted a standardized field sobriety breath test to which Terrell submitted to.

Terrell was charged with indecent exposure, possession and use of a false identification document, and numerous motor vehicle violations.

At this time, Terrell does not have a scheduled court date. Terrell faces a maximum jail sentence of three years and six months and/or a maximum fine of $1,500.
