Dajia R. Alston
California, MD— On Feb. 19, St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Cpl. E. O’Connor responded to Wildewood Pastry Shop in California for the report of a theft.
The suspect, Dajia Renee Alston, 19, of Edgewood, was observed concealing merchandise and leaving the store without paying.
Alston came into the store and, “was looking around, pacing. Alston asked the complainant if they had any samples of the cakes they sold and the complainant advised her they only gave out samples of wedding cakes by appointment. Alston then stated ‘I (Alston) guess I will come back with my bitches’,” according to charging documents.
Alston was located walking behind Cheeseburger in Paradise and placed under arrest.
Alston was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and issued a criminal citation for theft.
