Prince Frederick, MDโ€” On March 18, Calvert County Sheriffโ€™s Office Deputy Mohler was on routine patrol in Prince Frederick when he observed a white Lincoln Town Car being operated in the northbound lane of Solomons Island Road.

While observing the Lincoln,” the Lincoln swerved into my lane approximately halfway, requiring me (Mohler) to immediately apply the brakes to avoid a collision. I observed the vehicle make a left turn onto Hallowing Point Road from the left most lane,” Mohler stated in court documents. “I (Mohler) activated my emergency lights to initiate a traffic stop. On the approach of the vehicle, I (Mohler) observed an infant in a car seat in the back of the vehicle, and a young teenage girl in the front passenger seat.” Mohler approached the driverโ€™s window and, โ€œthe driver slowly looked at me, smiled, and waved. The driverโ€™s movements were slow and lethargic,โ€ according to charging documents.ย

The driver stated, โ€œI can get the registration card, but I donโ€™t have a license,โ€ according to charging documents. “The driverโ€™s speech as heavily slurred. After being asked, the driver advised her license was suspended, and she had only come out to pick up her kids. I verbally identified the driver as Antonia Mae Biscoe, 27, of Prince Frederick.”

Biscoe was asked to exit the vehicle to perform a Standardized Field Sobriety Test. Biscoe conducted the walk and turned. According to charging documents, โ€œafter demonstrating the test, I (Mohler) confirmed Biscoe understood the instructions. Biscoe stated, ‘I canโ€™t even do this in the gym.’ โ€

“I believed Biscoe to be under the influence of a drug and unable to safely operate a vehicle,” Mohler stated in court documents. “Biscoe was placed under arrest. Biscoe advised she had Suboxone Strips in her bra. Biscoe advised she had a prescription for Suboxone. Biscoe was put in my (Mohler) patrol vehicle where she would fall asleep, wake up and fall back asleep. I (Mohler) asked Biscoe how many Suboxone strips she is allegedly prescribed to take on a daily basis. Biscoe advised she is prescribed to take two, however, had only had the one approximately 7 p.m. Biscoe advised, she sleeps in her bra, keeps her money and Suboxone in her bra and refers to her bra as her safe deposit box.โ€ย

Biscoe was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where she as subsequently served he charging documents. Biscoe was charged with CDS possession, not marijuana. Biscoe has a scheduled court date for June 27 at the Calvert County District Court.
