On Saturday, November 8th at 12:22 a.m. Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack responded to St. Mary’s MedStar in Leonardtown for an 18 year-old male suffering gunshot wounds.
According to police it was an accidental shooting in which the victim shot himself.
The shooting had occurred late Friday night in the Westbury neighborhood in Lexington Park.
The injuries were non-life threatening and no charges have been made at this time.
