LANDOVER, Md. – Homicide Unit detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Tuesday morning in Landover. The victim is 18-year-old Kesean Pollard of Landover. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
On October 22, 2024, at approximately 9:25 am, officers responded to the 7400 block of Landover Road for the report of a shooting. Once officers arrived, they located a crime scene in the roadway. The victim was located inside of a car a short distance away in the 7100 block of Old Landover Road. He was pronounced dead on that scene.
Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify a suspect(s). Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random crime.
