Mechanicsville, MD – On Saturday evening, Jan. 30 at 6:15 p.m. a serious motor vehicle crash was reported near the 27000 block of Mechanicsville Road in St. Mary’s County. There are reports that two people are trapped inside a vehicle.
Motorists should avoid the area until further notice.
Update 6:30 p.m..– Police are on-scene and confirming two subjects trapped and requesting a Helicopter. Mechanicsville Road is closed until further notice.
Update 7:38 p.m.. — Accident scene has been cleared and roadway is reopened.
