GREAT MILLS, Md. — Earlier this afternoon, we received reports of a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian on Great Mills Road.
At approximately 5:25 p.m. on April 21, units were dispatched to the scene of the accident in the area of the Quik Shop on Great Mills Road. This is the second pedestrian involved accident in this area over the past three days.
The pedestrian who was involved in today’s accident was transported to Medstar St. Mary’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The patient who was struck last Sunday received serious injuries and was transported to a nearby trauma center by helicopter.
