NORTH BEACH, Md. — North Beach businesses are collaborating to bring an exciting art event to town that honors artistic expression in all forms.
Artworks at 7th, in collaboration with Omnist Media Limited and Flynn’s Arcade and Bar, announced the return of Art Alley, a vibrant community art bazaar, coming to North Beach on May 16, 2026. The event will take place from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Flynn’s, located at 8900 Chesapeake Ave., and is free and open to the public. Street parking will be available for the event.
Art Alley is designed to bring together families, art lovers and local businesses in a shared space. Attendees will get to see 10-15 curated artist booths, art installations, live music performances, and get to participate in a community painting experience. This is a one-of-a-kind event showcasing unity, creativity and community pride along the shores of the Chesapeake Bay.
“The Calvert County area is home to extraordinary independent artists who deserve a stage, and North Beach is the perfect backdrop for it. We want families, neighbors and art lovers to come together, discover something new, and connect with the people who make this community so special. We’re thrilled to be partnering with Omnist Media and Flynn’s to make this happen,” said Corrita Myers, co-president of Artworks at 7th Gallery, in a press release to The BayNet.
The event reflects a growing commitment among local organizations to invest in the cultural vitality of Southern Maryland, offering residents and visitors an accessible, welcoming space where art is not just displayed, but experienced and celebrated together.
Interested artists who want to take part in the event should register by April 16 using the registration link. Follow Artworks @ 7th Gallery for the latest information on the event.
