At 2:10 PM on Jan 26, TFC Whipp responded to Rousby Hall Rd., Lusby, to assist TFC Murphy with a traffic stop. A computer check revealed that the operator, Paul William Barton, 47, of Lusby, was wanted on an open warrant for failing to appear in court on a violation of probation charge.
Incident to arrest, a glass tube containing suspected cocaine was located in the vehicle. Mr. Barton was then charged with possession of cocaine and CDS paraphernalia.
After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.
