TALL TIMBERS, Md. — A Piney Point man finds himself back in the legal spotlight as he faces two separate trespassing charges stemming from incidents at a local bar this past summer. Law enforcement records state that he received official notice barring him from WJ Dent and Chiefs Bar in late August 2025. A subsequent alleged trespass was reportedly captured on surveillance footage.
Zachary Kenneth Lengfield, 32, is facing two separate charges of trespassing on private property, with competency hearings scheduled for Dec. 11, 2025, for both incidents. The first alleged trespass occurred in August 2025, and the second took place in September 2025.
According to law enforcement reports, on Aug. 29, 2025, Lengfield received official notice prohibiting him from entering WJ Dent and Chiefs Bar. On Sept. 14, 2025, deputies responded to a report of a trespass at Chiefs Bar in Tall Timbers. Dispatch advised officers that the individual was on foot and wearing a gray hoodie. When deputies arrived, they were unable to locate Lengfield in the immediate area, and a summons was issued.
Authorities reported that Lengfield allegedly entered Chiefs Bar, purchased a bottle of wine and then left the premises. Surveillance footage reportedly captured the incident. No injuries or additional property damage were reported.
Under Maryland law, trespassing on private property can carry maximum penalties of up to 90 days in jail and fines up to $500 per offense.
