Little Minnows: Water, Water, Everywhere! 10:00 a.m. โ€“ 11:00 a.m.
Water is everywhere โ€“ in the ocean, lakes, river, and in your tub. Using stories, crafts, and experiments, we will rediscover water. Space is limited. Preregistration required.ย 

Friday, August 6
First Free Friday: Music by the Navy Cruisers
The Cruisers feature eight of the Navy’s most dynamic performers playing music ranging from jazz & standards, rhythm & blues, classic rock, adult contemporary and pop, as well as original material โ€“ 7:00 p.m. in the museum auditorium. Enjoy free 30-minute rides aboard the Wm. B. Tennison sponsored by M&T Bank. Docents will be in every gallery. Farm fresh produce available for sale. The museum is open free to the public from 5:00 p.m.โ€“ 8:00 p.m.ย 

Saturday, August 7
National Lighthouse Day
Celebrate the Cove Point and Drum Point Lighthouses with special activities, crafts, musical performance, featured lighthouse items in the Museum Store, and free Lighthouse admission. The Cove Point Lighthouse is open from 10:00 a.m. โ€“ 4:00 p.m.ย 

Thursday, August 12 & 19
Sea Squirts: I Paddle on Water With Webbed Feet โ€“ Who Am I?ย  10:30 a.m. โ€“ 11:00 a.m.
Through hands-on activities, stories, and a stroll on the marsh walk, learn who has webbed feet and why.ย  Free drop-in program for children 18 months to 3 years old.ย 

Friday, August 13
Maritime Concert Series presents Mac Walter & John Cronin
Mac Walter and John Cronin developed their unique style over the past 35 years and began playing together as teenagers. These cousins are talented in their own right, but when they play together, the acoustic fingerstyle and gorgeous harmonies they create are amazing. Lotus Kitchen will have sweets, treats, and light supper fare available for sale, along with water, tea, lemonade, wine & beer beginning at 5:30 p.m. The Concert starts at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium. A $5 per person donation is requested. Sponsored by the Purring Family and the Holiday Inn โ€“ Select Solomons.

Sunset Cruise: 6:30 p.m. โ€“ 8:30 p.m.
