
PASADENA, Md. — A bicyclist was killed early Wednesday morning after being struck by a pickup truck on Ritchie Highway North.
Emergency personnel responded to the crash near Route 10 around 3:40 a.m. on Feb. 19, 2025. According to a preliminary investigation, a 2017 Ford F-150 was traveling along the highway when it collided with a bicyclist.
The 47-year-old cyclist, a Pasadena resident, suffered critical injuries and was transported to the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities have not released his name, pending notification of his next of kin.
The driver of the Ford F-150, a 30-year-old man also from Pasadena, was uninjured in the crash.
The incident remains under investigation by the Anne Arundel County Police Department Traffic Safety Section. No charges have been announced.
